🌊 Paddle Board the amazing Portage Glacier Creek. A full day of paddle boarding and BBQ on the beautiful shoreline. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery everywhere you look. Don’t worry, you can sit on your paddle board the entire way.

Are you ready for the ultimate Alaskan adventure? Conquer the breathtaking Pioneer Peak on this unforgettable overnight journey, led by me, the Alaska Mountain Gypsy. Together, we’ll experience the raw beauty of Alaska’s wilderness, camp beneath the stars, and summit one of the state’s most iconic peaks!
What to Expect on This Epic Adventure
🌄 Two Days of Adventure
• Day 1: Begin a morning climb, navigating lush forests and rugged switchbacks as we ascend to our scenic campsite. Enjoy stunning views of the Knik River Valley as we take the afternoon to rest, eat and hydrate. Early evening we will take snacks and water and make our ascent to the amazing peak. At the summit of Pioneer Peak, we will take in the jaw-dropping 360° views of glaciers, mountains, and the Mat-Su Valley. We will then return to camp for a cozy evening under the midnight sun.
• Day 2: Wake up at our leisure, eat breakfast and then descend with memories to last a lifetime.
🏕️ Wilderness Camping
Experience the serenity of Alaska’s backcountry with an overnight stay at a pristine alpine campsite. I’ll guide you through setting up camp and share tips for thriving in the wild.
